Does this sound familiar?

Okay, just a quick post before I go to bed.  The New York Times is reporting that the G.O.P., that grandest of grand old parties is criticizing American intelligence agencies for not finding more incriminating evidence against Iran.  This is an obvious attempt to drum up support for a war with Iran.  This seems just like the pre-Iraq War days when the W.M.D.'s could not be found, but the administration and complete assholes like Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz insisted we go to war.   I'm calling Shenanigans.  You can't just make up things in order to fit the story as you wish to perceive it.  It's faulty logic.  From the article:

“It reflects a certain way of looking at the world — that all evil is traceable to the capitals of certain states,” said Paul R. Pillar, who until last October oversaw American intelligence assessments about the Middle East. “And that, in my view, is a very incorrect way of interpreting the security challenges we face.”
