More news from the department of the slight of hand. A Reuters reporter has been blacklisted from the news agency due to a couple of doctored photographs submitted for purchase. The photographers name is Hajj and he has admitted to adding a plume of smoke to a building in Lebanon by cloning smoke from a neighboring building. Apparently the hack job was so obvious that "an amateur could have done better," according to an interview given to the
BBC. In
war, I believe images speak for themselves. What ever happened to integrity in journalism?
(Edit: Upon reflection, there probably never has been.)
