You may have noticed the banner in the upper right portion of this site. Stopglobalwarming.org is a virtual march that is over 450,000 people strong. The idea is simple. You enter your email address and zip code and they generate for you your own web page where you can keep track of how many people you have influenced and even if you wish, how much carbon you have saved from going into the atmosphere by changing your day to day actions. Even more importantly you add to the total count of people who have joined. 500,000 voters is nothing to scoff at. And the beauty of it is that you aren't required to enter your mailing address so there is no need to worry about unsolicited mail, and you can also opt out of email updates. So what's the big deal?
